Peter Parry (that's me) started his career as an apprentice mechanic in London in 1959.
Working on all makes of cars & trucks proved to be a difficult but educational experience.

Moving to California in 1962 was another challenge.  Beginning at local independent shops, it was soon apparent that there were many opportunities in the U.S.A.  Moving into the competitive world of the dealerships taught some valuable lessons and gave me a wealth of experience.

After being fired from several jobs for not cheating the customer, I was inspired to open my own auto repair shop with the emphasis on quality and honesty.

My shop grew until I landed in Glendora and built the centre located at 611 E. Route 66.
I managed my shop until I sold my business in 1998. Since then I have leased the bays to several independent mechanics who adhere to my basic principals.

With the advent of new technology things have changed.  Electronics have improved the comfort and performance of our new cars. Now more than ever mechanics provide the necessary service to keep the cars on the road. No longer will the old coat hanger repair get you home.  The new cars can sometimes leave you stranded with not so much as a puff of smoke.

Preventive maintenance is the key.  By keeping your car in top shape you can avoid those nasty surprises. We believe in good service for a reasonable price.  We are by no means perfect, nor do we pretend to know it all.  We do promise to treat your vehicle as we would treat our own, paying attention to details and your particular needs.

Although I am now officially retired, I still find time to buy and sell used cars and advise customers on car related questions.  Being a used car dealer allows me the freedom to find nice cars and pass the savings on to my customers.
